
Animals
Stalls with pet and/or animal petting/handling must provide hand washing facilities.
Back of Stalls
Please ensure that the back of stalls are kept tidy and free from trip hazards.
Breakfast
Complimentary cooked breakfast will be available for exhibitors between the hours of 8:00am – 9:00 am. A breakfast voucher will be handed to you on arrival.
Compliance
Stall holders must ensure that their activity meets Commonwealth, State and Local government regulations relating to health, fire, saftey and vendors license requirements. Stallholders shall abide by any regulations set down by the Adelaide Hills Council.
Display Material
Shade canopies, gazebos and display material must be secured by weights as pegging into the ground is not permitted. Large display material must be cleared by management prior to the event.
Exhibits
First Aid
St John’s Ambulance will be in attendance all day to administer first aid if necessary.
Food & Drink
Food & drinks will be available to purchase throughout the day from various vendors.
Health & Safety
A safety officer will inspect the stalls area and Festival footprint prior to the event beginning. Please report any unsafe conditions to the Festival Management team.
Location of Stalls
The location of stalls is at the discretion of the SAGF organisers, and may change on the day.
Lost Children
Lost children need to be taken to the Information Booth & handed over to a member of the SAGF Management team.
Management
The Festival is organised and managed by The Hills Montessori School. The Festival Management team, Cathy France, Tracey Spokes, Bec Francis & Alison Howard will be available throughout the day if needed and will be located at the Festival information Booth.
Noise
Loudspeakers will only be permitted by prior arrangement for special activities (not for general use.) operation of excessive &/or intrusive noisy equipment is not permitted. generators, if used, must have noise reduction controls to keep noise to acceptable levels.
Opening Hours
The Festival opening hours are from 10am - 4pm Sunday 5th May 2013.
Pack Up Time
Please do not begin packing up your site prior to 4.15 pm. Early move out compromises the safety and enjoyment of the visiting public. Move out is to be completed by 6pm Sunday 5th May 2013.
Power
All electrical fittings being used must be tested and certified by a qualified electrician prior to the event. This will be checked by the safety officer. If electrical items are not tagged and tested a fee of $20 per item will be charged prioir to the start of the event.
Promotion
The Festival will be promoted on radio & in newspapers, magazines and online. Exhibitors are encouraged to promote the Festival to their clientele prior to the event and can download advertising flyers here.
Public Liability Insurance
All exhibitors must provide their own public liability insurance and a copy of this insurance must be provided with the Site Registration form and payment prior to the event. Exhibitors who fail to provide this documentation will be unable to exhibit at the Festival.
Raffle
We thank exhibitors who are able to donate a prize for the raffle which is drawn on the day. A member of the Festival committee will collect the prize from exhibitors early on Sunday morning prior to the start of the event. Exhibitors who have donated a prize for the raffle will be listed with the raffle and on the website.
Security
All exhibitors are responsible for their own display material and products and should arrange insurance where necessary. The Police have been notified of the event & will attend the event. Please notify the Festival Management team if the police are required at any time.
Set Up Time
Sites can be set up between 6.00 – 9.00 am on the day of the Festival. (All sites must be ready by 9.30 am on the day)
Signage
The SAGF organisers have overall control of signage, materials and products sold or displayed. Any signage, materials or products may be refused inclusion entirely at the discretion of the organisers.
Sites
All Sites are 6m x 3m. Exhibitors who apply & pay for extra sites will be allocated sites alongside each other. Power will only be available on those sites where exhibitors have applied and paid for such things prior to the event. Exhibitors are expected to provide their own display furniture, signage, gazebos etc.
No stall larger that the size paid for (including support lines and weights) will be accepted. Stalls exceeding the size requested will incur an additional cost and may be reloacted.
Toilets
Male, female and accessible toilets are available on site. Please check the site map for location.
Vehicles
Exhibitors are able to drive their vehicles to their sites to load and unload equipment during the designated times. All vehicles need to be moved into the designated car parking areas by 9:00 am then vehicles must not be driven near or onto sites until after 4:30pm. Please check site map to locate designated car parking area for exhibitors.
Waste
Waste disposal including liquid waste is the responsibility of the stallholder. Stalls must remain clean and tidy at all times. All rubbish must be taken with stall holders at pack up time.
